Crucial & Important Universal Skills

Wherever you are in the world, everyone can agree that work experience and education are the building blocks to success. However there are other skills worth mentioning that help lay out your foundation. Here are some universal skills you should learn.

Cooking

Everyone needs food in order to survive and what better way than to cook it yourself. When you're cooking food yourself, you know what’s being used. Compared to frozen foods, a home cooked meal uses less processed food. Home cooked meals have more nutritional value, portion size is controlled, and cheaper.

Saving Money

Making money is the easiest part, saving money is the hard part. Lots of people struggle because they want to enjoy life at the moment. Which isn’t a bad thing, but wouldn’t you rather have money and retire early. Then having to work 9 to 5 until you're unable to work. Sounds brutal, but we don’t realize it until it’s too late. Easiest thing you can do is invest it or put it aside where you will forget it.

Networking

You know that saying, “What a small world” Well that saying is true if you know a lot of people. It’s important to make connections with people because they can help you lead to another person. A simple hello can lead to a conversation, which then leads to a friendship forming. The more people you know, the better you expand your options and opportunities.

These are just a few important universal skills to learn. But there are many skills that are just as important such as public speaking, working out, dieting, etc.
