Improving Your Fitness Mentality

 Improving Your Fitness Mentality

Are you looking to get ripped? Achieving a 6 pack? Or just wanting to lose a few pounds? Or trying to start exercising?

Well I would like to help you achieve a better fitness for yourself. But keep in mind that I don’t have a degree and I’m just a dude that wants to share their experience. Alright now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s jump right into this!

First off, it’s good to make goals. However I want you to make both long term and short term goals. For example, you want to get six packs. With this goal in mind, it’ll be long term. So in order to reach that, you need to do the small steps first in order to reach that goal. Which means starting with an exercise plan that you can stick to. Whether it’s crunches, v ups, planks, sit-ups, etc. The point is to start somewhere and then slowly increase the workload that’s comfortable with you.

Second, it’s important to remind yourself why you want to achieve this goal. There will be days when you will want to forget doing the workout. So that means you have to mentally disciplined to get yourself to workout, when you don’t want to.

Third, you’ve got to have a growth mindset, if you want to get outside your comfort zone. If you don’t, then there’s no point in improving your own fitness.

Lastly, you have control over your environment. Which means you know who you hangout with, the music you consume, and your habits. Those will dictate, whether or not you will be successful or not.
